Ottoman-Inspired Apartment Renovation in Nişantaşı

About this project

A renovation in a classic Nişantaşı building, photographed empty at handover. Ottoman arch motifs run through the whole apartment — on the built-in wardrobes, the doors and the wall panels — set against high-gloss herringbone oak parquet and plaster cornices.

The U-shaped kitchen pairs cobalt-blue shaker cabinets and brass handles with striped marble worktops and Iznik-style tiles, with a built-in bench in the corner window bay. Each of the three bathrooms has its own vanity colour — teal, orange or red — with striped marble, fluted marble basins, brass fittings and Iznik tile panels.
